About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Simply South. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and dietary needs of our customers
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff
    • Train and develop staff to improve skills and performance
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of safety and quality
    • Implement and maintain food safety protocols and procedures
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies and equipment
    • Monitor and control food costs
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Ensure the kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained
    • Implement and maintain cleaning schedules and protocols
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
