Accounting Professor Position at Université Laval

Université Laval is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a tenure-track faculty position in accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in the accounting field, preferably in financial accounting, taxation, IT accounting, or accounting in the context of First Nations' management and governance, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The ideal candidate will have a completed PhD in accounting or a closely related field, or be in the process of obtaining one. They will also have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in accounting and/or relevant accounting professional experience. A professional accounting designation is desirable.
The selected candidate will contribute to the advancement of accounting knowledge through qualitative and/or quantitative research and actively participate in the School's research activities and graduate students supervision.
Université Laval is a francophone institution and candidates are expected to be able to communicate in French with ease and teach in French within one year of being hired.
Responsibilities- Teach in the accounting field at both the undergraduate and graduate levels

- Collaborate with colleagues and share faculty responsibilities
- Completed PhD in accounting or a closely related field
