Job Summary

MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business advisory firm in Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join our Administration team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor workflow intake and workflow tracker to ensure timely updates.
  • Coordinate workflow between teams, prioritizing tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Responsible for data entry related to producing a schedule for the Accounting and Assurance team.
  • Assist in long-term scheduling and resolve scheduling conflicts with managers and partners.
  • Produce weekly reporting and ad-hoc reports from our practice management software.
  • Communicate scheduling changes and updates to team members.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in business administration is considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of increasingly complex administrative responsibilities.
  • Experience in a professional services environment is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong client service focus in dealing with both external and internal clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Outstanding problem solving and communication skills.
