About the Role

As a key member of our ScotiaMcLeod team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and supporting the success of our Wealth Advisors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective client administration, including managing administrative processes and escalations, and providing timely and responsive support to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client administration, including tracking reports and financial plans, to support the growth of the business.
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and effecting client transactions in a timely and responsive manner.
  • Support the advisor in regular reviews of portfolios, including entering client trades and identifying client needs.
  • Assist with marketing efforts by coordinating materials, events, and seminars to increase opportunities for asset growth and revenue.
  • Build effective working relationships with various departmental and business line contacts by actively collaborating and sharing knowledge and experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in the securities industry.
  • Already duly registered as an Investment Representative (IR) with CIRO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Exceptional client service skills.
