Surgical Subspecialties Clinical Transformation Specialist

In accordance with Island Health's strategic direction and patient safety priorities, this role is a critical component of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) clinical transformation.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with specialty groups to standardize documentation requirements and promote best practices in order set development.
- Liaise with informatics, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health teams to ensure successful adoption of clinical order sets.
- Support overall IHealth change management by actively engaging with specialty colleagues to drive workflow validation, simulation exercises, and education platform development.
- Evaluate EHR design through testing events, lessons learned, provider feedback, and metrics analysis.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to navigate complex clinical workflows and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with order set development and clinical best practice promotion.
$164 per hour sessional rate based on credentials.
