About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Linamar Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct engineering projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure that all projects meet the required standards.
  • Ensure that all projects are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
