Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for securing and managing key accounts in the Greater Toronto Area. You will work closely with architects, designers, general contractors, and distributors to promote our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals and expectations.
  • Develop and manage key accounts to establish business development opportunities.
  • Drive product specifications and project opportunities throughout assigned territory.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and key relationships to develop trusted partnerships with customers.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic business/territory plans for each customer with monthly forecasts.
  • Consistently follow the standard sales process to identify prospects and decision makers, gain customer commitment, predict sales probability, and effectively close deals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 4-10 years of related experience and/or training in the construction industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Construction knowledge, including waterproofing, air barriers, framing, modular, and assembly line related product segments.
  • Basic knowledge of product chemistries.
  • Insulated Concrete Forms knowledge/experience a plus.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Salary range: $82,000.00 - $106,600.00 plus a performance-based incentive bonus.
