About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our furniture retail team at the London Liquidation Centre Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and optimize daily store operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and organize daily tasks, including staff assignments and merchandise displays.
  • Manage and develop a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Determine and implement pricing and credit policies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Source and procure high-quality merchandise for resale, ensuring a competitive edge in the market.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Monitor and control budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff, as well as conduct performance reviews to ensure team success.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the furniture industry.
  • College or CEGEP education, with a focus on business or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and other business software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team success. The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional standing for extended periods.
