About the Role

Lynk is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Sydney, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our electrical construction team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure goods and services, including conduit, wire, fixtures, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for industrial and commercial projects.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders electronically.
  • Review and approve invoices for payment.
  • Expedite and coordinate delivery of goods to sites.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Review supplier bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of work.
  • Provide project support, including obtaining and submitting shop drawings, tracking progress, and coordinating assembly of operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Assist in compiling project schedules, commissioning, and closeout documentation.
  • Maintain material Safety Data Sheet and WHMIS information.
  • Assist with material take-offs and project change orders.
  • Assist with project tender and bid submissions, interpreting project specifications and drawings.
  • Attend project meetings as required.
Requirements
  • A graduate from a recognized engineering technology program or 10+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely and effectively with other departments, team members, suppliers, general, and subcontractors.
  • A detail-oriented and self-directed individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and ability to utilize AutoCad, Bluebeam, Accubid.
