As a Senior Consultant, Data Scientist at Avanade, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data science solutions for leading businesses.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our fast-growing Data Science team. If you are passionate about helping clients realize the value of data science, this role is ideal for you.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling, familiarity with SQL for querying databases, and ability to clean, preprocess, and transform raw data. Experience with Azure ML Studio or Azure Databricks (Pyspark), knowledge of statistical concepts, and basic knowledge of prompt engineering and fine tuning & Azure OpenAI are also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client requirements and design analytics solutions based on data analysis, data science, technology, and business process design.

With a strong understanding of data science and its applications, the successful candidate will be able to build and deploy bespoke, advanced data science solutions across various industries, including NLP, Computer Vision, IoT, ML, AI, and Deep Learning.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling
  • Familiarity with SQL for querying databases
  • Ability to clean, preprocess, and transform raw data
  • Experience with Azure ML Studio or Azure Databricks (Pyspark)
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts

  • Experience working with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
