Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at EDMONTON DIAL AN APPLIANCEMAN INC. This role will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Plan and organize daily operations, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, maintaining accurate records.
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing calendars and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Manage contracts, ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies.
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, providing excellent customer service.
- Answer electronic enquiries, responding to emails and other digital communications.
- Compile data, statistics, and other information, analyzing and presenting findings to support business decisions.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring a well-stocked and organized workspace.
- Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations, coordinating logistics for team members.
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Perform data entry, accurately and efficiently capturing and recording information.
- Provide customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Computer and Technology Knowledge

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
