Job Description

Education and Experience



  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Experience an asset.



Key Responsibilities



  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a smooth finish.

  • Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure a strong bond between plaster and surface.

  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to prevent cracking and ensure durability.

  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.

  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency for optimal performance.

  • Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim to enhance the appearance of buildings.

  • Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.



Working Conditions



  • Permanent employment with Friends Construction Inc.

  • Work 120 to 150 hours per month.

  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment.
