Director of Care

TEEEMA Group is seeking a seasoned Director of Care to lead our Long Term Care team. As a passionate leader, you will guide and support a team of talented healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care programs
- Supervise and coordinate the admissions and discharges of residents
- Meet with residents and their families to resolve concerns and review suggestions
- Maintain contact with residents to ensure high-quality care
- Determine nursing staff requirements and select qualified personnel
- Provide daily healthcare assistance to residents as needed
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to hire, direct, and schedule nursing personnel
- Complete required monthly reports for senior management
- Ensure the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and supervise the drug administration program
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Care in a Long Term Care facility
- Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing is desirable
- Knowledge of the nursing process and skill in planning, coordination, and supervision
- Valid driver's license and excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $105,000 and opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth.
