Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto/Kitchener/Waterloo area.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to provide Tier 1 technical support to internal staff and customers. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting end-user issues, managing IT contracts, and supporting our SaaS operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical support of hardware and software
  • Ticket creation, categorization, prioritization, and escalation
  • Troubleshoot end-user issues with root cause analysis
  • Managing IT contracts and renewals
  • Supporting our SaaS operations working with senior IT Admins
  • Install, configure, and support our hosted server environments
  • Monitor and maintain system and network performance
  • Performing after-hour system maintenance (lieu time awarded)
  • Upholding company IT Security policies, governance, and compliance

Requirements:

  • College or University degree in Computer Science or related area of study
  • 1+ year working with Windows Server
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning
  • Bonus: certifications in Microsoft Systems, or Azure

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
