Business Development Manager for HVAC Sales

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Sales Manager to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This critical leadership role is essential to the successful and profitable operation of ECCO Supply's commercial sales, requiring a visionary leader who can drive growth by capitalizing on new opportunities while effectively navigating existing challenges.
About the Position:
ECCO Supply is a leading wholesale distributor of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) supplies and equipment with a strong presence in Western and Central Canada. We are now expanding into the United States and are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our management team.
Key Responsibilities:
- BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with managers and supervisors to improve employee engagement, communication, and training;
- FINDING NEW OPPORTUNITIES
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for recommendation to the Vice President & General Manager and executive management;
- MaintAINING EXPERT KNOWLEDGE
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and applications through continuous education and training;
- COLLABORATING WITH TEAMS
- Work closely with the Branch Manager and Marketing department to promote and advertise campaigns, upholding the corporate brand and professionalism at all times;
- ENSURING EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to ensure proper messaging is communicated via presentation and promotion materials;
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales role, ideally within the HVAC industry, with a focus on selling mechanical equipment;
- Strong, in-depth knowledge of mechanical products and applications is essential;
- Commitment to employee training and development;
