Job Title: Street Outreach Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Street Outreach Worker. In this role, you will work with vulnerable populations, providing support and connecting them with essential services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored support.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to ensure clients receive comprehensive services.
  • Conduct assessments and create case plans to address clients' needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention training.
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics for program evaluation.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a community agency setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications in ASIST, Mental Health First Aid, and NVCI an asset.
