We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Ready to Haul Transportation Ltd.

About the Role

This is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial management. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, financial statements, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Accounting Reports: Generate and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $45,000-$60,000 based on industry standards and location. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
