Job Overview

Frontier Bakery is seeking a highly skilled Director of Operations and Strategy to oversee the implementation of organizational policies and programs, manage financial and administrative controls, and lead the organization towards achieving its objectives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role and will be responsible for allocating resources, establishing major departments, and coordinating the work of regions or divisions. This individual must have excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness, and team player abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Allocate Material, Human, and Financial Resources: Implement organizational policies and programs by allocating necessary resources.
  2. Establish Major Departments: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  3. Coordinate Regional Work: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
  4. Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
  5. Represent the Organization: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
  6. Select Senior Staff: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal awareness and team player abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
