About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Guide and Grow Daycare Centre Inc. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and ensuring the well-being of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Storytelling and engaging children in activities
  • Supervising staff, trainees, or volunteers
  • Assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs
  • Leading activities, ordering supplies, and maintaining records
  • Encouraging creativity and self-expression in children
  • Preparing snacks and maintaining a safe environment
  • Establishing guidelines for behaviour and promoting a positive atmosphere
Requirements
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
  • Bondable
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
