Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled In-Home Caregiver to join our team. This is a live-in position, which offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of our client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to ensure our client's physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene to promote cleanliness and dignity.
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain mobility and flexibility.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to support overall health and wellness.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens to prevent wear and tear.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a safe and healthy living space.
  • Provide companionship to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Offer personal care services, including feeding and grooming, to enhance our client's quality of life.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Experience working in a similar capacity is an asset.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctuality, initiative, and patience are essential qualities for this role.
Work Environment

This is a non-smoking environment, and we offer optional accommodation at no charge on a live-in basis. The work site is located in our employer's home, where you will be responsible for completing all tasks related to the care and well-being of our client.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
