About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Events Mixologist to join our dynamic team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for designing and executing our event bar decor and cocktail menus, managing a team of mixologists, and ensuring that every event runs smoothly and exceeds our client's expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute unique cocktail menus tailored to each event, showcasing your expertise in mixology and creativity.
  • Lead and manage a team of mixologists, providing training and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of bar operations at events on-site and off-site, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences, providing personalized service and attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve your skills and knowledge, driving innovation and excellence in mixology.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a mixologist, with a strong portfolio of creative cocktails.
  • Prior experience in event catering or a similar environment, with a track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
