Job Opportunity: Procurement Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Alberta Health Services.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to perform purchasing functions consistent with established policies and practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Acquisition and procurement of routinely purchased supplies, equipment, and services within assigned work groups.
  • Researching and collating information, preparing requests for quotations, and issuing purchase orders using pre-set templates and established rules.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2-year post-secondary education in Business or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in healthcare and/or public purchasing/supply chain management (an asset).
Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
