We are seeking a skilled Residential Cleaning Professional to join our team at K-W Underhill Residential Home. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 32-40 hours of work per week.

About the Role

This housekeeping role involves cleaning and maintaining the interior of our residential home, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and laundry duties.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect all areas of the home, including kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances;
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, and vacuum carpeting and upholstered furniture;
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces;
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed;
  • Launder clothing and household linens;
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers;
  • Restock linen closets and distribute clean towels and toiletries;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required;
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • No degree, certificate or diploma required;
  • Will train provided for any necessary skills and knowledge;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks;
  • Availability to work 32-40 hours per week.
