About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team at Aroma Interiors Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation
  • Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation
  • Permanent employment
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
