Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Guest Services Agent to join our team at Marriott International. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring their stay with us is memorable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys.
  • Verify/adjust billing for guests and communicate with staff when guests are waiting for an available room.
  • Advise guests of messages, clear departures in the computer system, and coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
  • Provide guests with directions and information, answer and record guest calls, and process all payment types, vouchers, and charges.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team members to reach common goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds.
