About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at MY BOX (CANADA) TRADING LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff, assigning duties, and evaluating performance.
  • Merchandise and Services: Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credit policies, and locate and procure merchandise for resale.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth, study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, and plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, resolve customer complaints and issues, and maintain a positive attitude towards customers.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Language: English (fluency required).
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
