Job Overview

The NICU at Richmond Hospital is a specialized unit that requires a high level of skill and expertise. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

  • Provide assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of care for assigned patients in Special Care Nursery.
  • Use appropriate clinical judgment to provide optimal neonatal care to patients and their families.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A graduate degree from an approved nursing program.
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and current National Registration in CPR - NRP.
  • Completion of a post-basic neonatal program certificate/diploma and two (2) years' recent related experience in a Level 2-3 neonatal Unit supplemented by courses in breastfeeding or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
