Expert Hydraulic Modeller for Municipal Infrastructure Development

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering Team in Kingston. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading storm, water, and wastewater hydraulic modelling tasks, including stormwater flooding reviews, servicing feasibility studies, technical analysis, and design support for various project sizes.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in leveraging advanced hydraulic modelling and GIS software packages to ensure efficient and sustainable infrastructure solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects across scenic landscapes, focusing on local projects within Kingston and surrounding areas.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require 2+ years of experience in hydraulic modelling for Public and Private Sector projects in Ontario. A Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is essential, along with proficiency in modelling software such as Aquanuity, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWater, InfoSWMM, Water/SewerGEMS, and PCSWMM. Familiarity with Autodesk systems, GIS systems, and data management software is also required.
Experience working with municipalities and knowledge of transient hydraulic analysis using Hammer software are considered assets. The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
