Financial Record Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Record Specialist to join our team at ADVANCE TAX AND ACCOUNTING SERVICES INC. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping and be proficient in maintaining financial records, establishing and balancing accounts using manual and computerized systems.
Key Responsibilities- Bookkeeping and Record-Keeping: Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, reconcile accounts, and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare trial balance of books, statistical, financial, and accounting reports, as well as tax returns.
- Asset Management: Calculate and maintain fixed assets and depreciation.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field of employment.
- Certifications: Required certifications may vary depending on the specific job requirements.
The successful candidate will work 80 hours bi-weekly with a permanent position. The language of work is English.
Estimated SalaryWe offer an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
