Job Title: Moving Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Moving Truck Driver to join our team at Ready to Go Moving Services Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records and optimize routes.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Hold a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles) and a valid driver's licence.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit to handle the demands of the job, including sitting for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a strong work ethic to work effectively in a team environment.
