About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Advisor to join our Catastrophe Claims Team at Sécurité Nationale Compagnie d'Assurance. As a Claims Advisor, you will be responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling claims related to catastrophic events such as natural disasters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze claims to determine the extent of damage and liability
  • Negotiate with customers to reach a mutually beneficial settlement
  • Review and verify inspection reports and estimates to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on the status of their claim
  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless claim processing
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in claims adjusting, preferably with multiple lines of insurance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to negotiate win-win outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Xactimate and Xactanalys is an asset
