Senior Mechanical Engineer Position
We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our Water and Wastewater team in Ottawa and Kingston offices.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in the water and/or wastewater sector, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for innovative solutions.
As a Discipline Lead, you'll oversee technical personnel, provide mechanical expertise for engineering studies and condition assessments, and work closely with clients to understand their needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality custom solutions for clients using innovative technologies and alternate delivery methods.
- Designing, coordinating, managing, and administering projects from concept through to completion.
- Providing mechanical engineering expertise for engineering studies and condition assessments.
- Liaising with clients, identifying, and responding to their needs.
- Interacting with regulatory bodies to understand their requirements and integrate compliance into project design.
- Mentoring designers and junior engineers.
