Transportation Project Planning and Compliance Attorney

The City of New York is seeking a detail-oriented and organized attorney to assist with transportation project planning, design, and construction implementation.
The successful candidate will have an ability to analyze complex legislation and regulations pertaining to multiple federal agencies, handle a high volume of matters, and function under tight time constraints.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the receipt and use of federal and state grant funding
- Draft and review federal, state, and city legislation and regulations
- Draft agency compliance procedures
- Conduct legal research
- Prepare legal memoranda
- Graduation from an accredited United States law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- At least one year of legal experience, concentrating on regulatory and administrative law
