Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at A&W. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are supported and empowered to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess team member performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 1 to 2 people, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Marketing: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our brand and increase sales.
  • Operations: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
