Job Description

As a Financial Accountant at the Rooster Building group, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

  • You will calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, fixed assets, and depreciation;
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements;
  • Post journal entries;
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports;
  • Prepare tax returns;
  • Reconcile accounts;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college certificate or diploma in accounting or a related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting;
  • Proficiency in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines;
