Document Management Specialist

Victor Energy, a leading energy company, is seeking an experienced Document Management Specialist to support its Transmission Line and Substation EPC projects in Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is proficient in document control processes and systems.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the digital document management system, ensuring that all project documentation is correctly coded and filed in a timely manner. They will also assist team members with locating documents, answering document control-related questions, and resolving service issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the digital document management system, including coding and filing project documentation
- Assisting team members with document location, answering questions, and resolving service issues
- Identifying and reporting deficiencies and/or problems with the document management system
- Managing formal communications transmittals with external stakeholders
- Providing front-line system user support and training
- Supporting the development, standardization, and operational execution of document control processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in document control supporting construction projects
- Experience with maintaining a digital document management system
- College or University Diploma/Degree preferably in Administration, Information Management, or Records Management
- Specific experience with Engineering and Construction document management is an asset
Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
