About the JobWe are seeking a detail-oriented Sanitarian and Healthcare Environmental Specialist to join our Environmental Services team. As an Environmental I Cleaner/Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and disinfection of clinical and non-clinical areas throughout our facilities.
- You will be responsible for performing a range of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restocking supplies, stripping linen, and replenishing cleaning materials.
- In addition to your cleaning duties, you will also identify and report potential hazards to your Working Leader, ensuring the safety of everyone in our facilities.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A completion of Grade 10 or equivalent education.
- Knowledge and operation of a computer, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as perform repetitive movements throughout your shift.
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 22 pounds of force.
