Salary: $55,000 plus upward commission potential

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and investment advice to deliver solutions in the best interests of our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include determining client needs and providing tailored solutions through the sale of managed products and services. You will also engage with new and existing customers, identify opportunities, and implement business development strategies to acquire new business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Typically between 3-5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Meet regulatory licensing and registration requirements for a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment.
  • Advanced knowledge of the financial industry and specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills, and influence abilities.
