Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance team, responsible for designing and delivering MI reports and QLIK dashboards to support finance and MI reporting needs. This role requires a strong understanding of financial data and the ability to transform it into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver MI reports and QLIK dashboards to support finance and MI reporting needs.
  2. Apply SmartView for Excel-based reporting and data analysis, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports.
  3. Transform finance and operational information into management information analytics.
  4. Ensure internal controls and quality measures are in place to maintain report quality.
  5. Consistently and accurately provide MI reports to collaborators in the business and finance departments.
  6. Build and deliver Finance MI reports in Qlik Sense and Excel-based SmartView.
  7. Ensure Finance MI initiatives are delivered on time.
  8. Maintain a seamless reporting process to meet the customer needs in finance management information.
  9. Implement governance and control on new report creation.
  10. Serve as a key tester on various internal and external projects.
Requirements
  1. Designated accounting professional (CPA or equivalent)
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations or management reporting with proven experience in managing customer expectations.
  3. Experience working with data visualization tools is essential.
  4. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  5. Experience working with relational databases and data visualization tools is a strong asset.
  6. Strong ability to analyze data and drill down to the General Ledger level to ensure accuracy.
  7. Experience with using ERP general ledger is an asset.
  8. High level of accuracy in reporting and analysis, ensuring internal controls and quality measures are in place.
