Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the finance team, responsible for designing and delivering MI reports and QLIK dashboards to support finance and MI reporting needs. This role requires a strong understanding of financial data and the ability to transform it into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver MI reports and QLIK dashboards to support finance and MI reporting needs.
- Apply SmartView for Excel-based reporting and data analysis, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reports.
- Transform finance and operational information into management information analytics.
- Ensure internal controls and quality measures are in place to maintain report quality.
- Consistently and accurately provide MI reports to collaborators in the business and finance departments.
- Build and deliver Finance MI reports in Qlik Sense and Excel-based SmartView.
- Ensure Finance MI initiatives are delivered on time.
- Maintain a seamless reporting process to meet the customer needs in finance management information.
- Implement governance and control on new report creation.
- Serve as a key tester on various internal and external projects.
- Designated accounting professional (CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations or management reporting with proven experience in managing customer expectations.
- Experience working with data visualization tools is essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with relational databases and data visualization tools is a strong asset.
- Strong ability to analyze data and drill down to the General Ledger level to ensure accuracy.
- Experience with using ERP general ledger is an asset.
- High level of accuracy in reporting and analysis, ensuring internal controls and quality measures are in place.
