Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Control Supervisor to join our team at Professional Book Fairs. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of books and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely receipt of inventory and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of inventory coordinators to ensure they have the necessary tools and support to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, team player, analytical, proactive.
