Job Description

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with assigned customers in the Northern Ontario region. Your primary focus will be on face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Qualify accounts by assessing market potential and providing regular territory sales forecasts.
  • Execute and expand assigned customer account plans, developed in conjunction with management.
  • Drive billing margin initiatives through value-added services, marketing programs, and supplier engagement.
  • Prospect potential customers, including cold calling and developing leads through referral channels.
  • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; suggest products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and relationship management to ensure customer satisfaction; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team in Northern Ontario. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A High School Degree or Equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Three to five years outside sales experience required
  • Four years industry experience preferred
  • Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective communicator both written and verbally
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
