Executive Chef Position with Menu Planning Responsibilities

Flavors & Spices Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations.
About the RoleThis permanent position offers an attractive salary of $70,000 per year, paid in bi-weekly installments, along with 40 hours of work per week and opportunities for growth within the company.
The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and relevant experience in a commercial kitchen environment. Strong leadership skills are essential for this role, as you will be responsible for training staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Determine portion sizes and costs for menu items.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Procure ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to established standards.
- Cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures.
- Order necessary equipment and supplies.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Oversee overall kitchen operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen environment is highly valued.
This role comes with an annual salary of $70,000, which is paid out every two weeks, reflecting the competitive market rate for similar positions in the industry.
