Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Christopher Lesanko. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Previous experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Work Environment:

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes, using your own vehicle or public transportation.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
