About the Job

Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking a skilled Landscape Construction Labourer to join our team of professionals in Toronto and the surrounding area.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit individual to assist in various landscape construction tasks, including installation of natural stone, interlock paving stone, and precast pavers. The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of natural stone, interlock paving stone, and precast pavers
  • Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, digging, and raking
  • Operate hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, and wheelbarrows
  • Trim shrubs and evergreens
  • Assist in the placement of soils, plants, and other materials
Requirements
  • Minimum of a valid G driver's license
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
  • Able to work 10 hours + shifts
  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
