About the Job


We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painting and Finishing Specialist to join our team at 409 Collision Centre. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes that meet or exceed customer expectations.



Job Summary


The Automotive Painting and Finishing Specialist will work closely with our technicians and other support staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient job completion. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.



Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver High-Quality Paint Finishes: Apply primers, basecoats, and clear coats to vehicle surfaces using spray guns and hand application techniques.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure all work areas, equipment, and supplies are clean, organized, and in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with Repair Team: Communicate effectively with technicians and other support staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
  • Meet Customer Expectations: Strive to exceed customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional quality, on-time delivery, and excellent customer service.
  • Safety Procedures: Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies through ongoing training and professional development.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and move around the workplace safely.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of focus and concentration required to maintain precision and accuracy in paint applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective collaboration and customer service.
  • Education and Experience: Secondary school graduation certificate; minimum 1 year experience in automotive painting and finishing; or equivalent education and experience combination.
  • Worksite Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to noise, odors, and other hazards.
