Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at EPCM. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring they are properly cared for and meet our high standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Planning and Organization: Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contract Administration: Tender and administer contracts for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Technical Expertise: Read blueprints and drawings, repair and maintain equipment, and requisition or order materials and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks.
