Job Title: Human Resources Advisor, Wellness, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Advisor to join our team at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). As a key member of our HR Branch, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives that promote employee wellness and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, with experience in providing strategic and functional advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives. You will be responsible for designing and developing programs, tools, and approaches to advance EDI and wellness in the workplace, as well as transferring knowledge to others, including HR practitioners and other service providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and functional advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives
  • Design and develop programs, tools, and approaches to advance EDI and wellness in the workplace
  • Transfer knowledge to others, including HR practitioners and other service providers
  • Implement workplace wellness strategies, programs, and solutions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the work, as well as experience in human resources management, including providing strategic and functional advice on employment-related policies, programs, and initiatives. You will also need to have experience implementing employment and workplace-focused strategies, programs, training, and approaches to advance EDI and wellness.
