Job Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and quality control in our kitchen. As an Executive Chef and Kitchen Operations Manager, you will lead a team of skilled professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Food Cost Control: Develop menus that showcase our seafood offerings while maintaining profitability and adhering to dietary guidelines.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation, plating, and presentation, as well as effective inventory management and ordering systems.
  • Food Safety and Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce rigorous food safety protocols, maintain accurate records, and conduct regular kitchen inspections to guarantee exceptional product quality.
  • Crew Training and Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff on new recipes, cooking techniques, and procedures, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Sourcing and Supply Chain Management: Partner with suppliers to source fresh seafood ingredients and negotiate optimal pricing and delivery schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize waste, and optimize resource allocation to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior kitchen leadership position, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of successful menu planning, cost control, and kitchen operations management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and attention to detail.
