At Skjodt-Barrett Foods, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards and regulatory compliance across our production sites.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality policies, manage audits and inspections, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with site QA teams to resolve quality issues effectively.
- Act as the program owner for regulatory compliance, managing all certification processes, renewals, and execution at both sites.
- Lead internal and external audits, guiding teams to ensure successful outcomes and adherence to regulatory requirements such as HACCP, GFSI, and Organic & Kosher certifications.
- Manage the Corrective Action Program, identifying, resolving, and preventing quality issues with a proactive approach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Extensive quality assurance experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
- Direct experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leading change management to engage workers and ensure adoption.
- Experience leading audits with customers onsite and implementing corrective actions.
