Nationwide, Enercare operates under several brands including Enercare, Service Experts, HydroSolution, Pioneer Plumbing & Heating, and Styles Mechanical Services, serving Canadians in multiple provinces.
The Director, Commercial Asset Management will oversee and develop key performance indicators, business intelligence, and analytics supporting Sales, Customer, and Field operations across Enercare.
Partnering with various lines of business, this role provides leadership and guidance to understand business problems, gather requirements, and leverage data to develop appropriate dashboards, KPIs, and analytics driving value.
This position will also be responsible for partnering with the IT organization to evolve a long-term business data intelligence practice supporting the consolidation of data into a scalable enterprise Data Lakehouse and enabling increased self-serve reporting and analytics functionality.
Data Governance and AI/ML play integral roles in driving insights for the business.
This role is critical in continuously evolving the enterprise data strategy across the organization and developing new strategies to leverage data to support business decisions and define value-added opportunities.
You will lead a diverse team of data analytics resources and analytics developers to deliver quality analysis, interpretation of findings, and clear articulation of results and insights to internal business stakeholders.
Drive the design, development, and deployment of new BI analytics, reports, frameworks, and tools, including visual insights, detail reports, dashboards, and AI/ML insights.
Support new technology implementation with ongoing data management and system administration needs, including Data Governance and AI/ML.
Partner with Client Account and Business Leads to understand data and analytics requirements.
Develop data visualization and user experience guidelines to ensure Business Analytics reports and dashboards are presented in a meaningful and accessible manner allowing users to easily understand and interpret data.
Develop the Business Analytics performance measurement standard to track ongoing adoption and use of reports and dashboards.
Track, document, and prioritize requests for Analytic Support from various Business Units.
Lead the team in developing tools, dashboards, and processes to manage programs (Corporate KPI Reporting, Data Governance, etc.).
Required qualifications include 10+ years' experience building and delivering data analytics for a significant, high-profile organization similar in size to Enercare.
A proven ability to lead, motivate, and nurture teams delivering data analytics exceeding expectations is essential.
5+ years' management experience with demonstrated success building, developing, and leading high-performing teams and building successful relationships with senior stakeholders is required.
Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, GCP, or Snowflake) and/or relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) is necessary.
Experience with Python, R, ML algorithms, and/or another statistical language is also required.
Managing Data Governance with Purview, Collibra, or similar capability is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree in quantitative marketing, data mining, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field is mandatory.
